Looks and works great! I installed this trackball on my Curve 8330 with the Black Trackball Surround and the all black faceplate/battery cover. It all fits like it's straight from RIM!

the black trackball combined with the the black trackball ring and black case from this site gives the phone an all new appeal, which is very nice. the trackball doesn't perform as well as the original white one that came with the phone. when i give my phone to other blackberry users they complain about it, but after a few days i became pretty used to it. the look is worth the inconvenience.

Great product. Identical to the original trackball, except black. Take care installing it, as the ring surrounding the trackball assembly breaks easily. This black trackball does not light up, but the sleek black look combined with a black faceplate kit (also sold here) really enhances the look. Additionally, this ball will not get yellow and dirty like the original white trackball. 5 out of 5 stars for an excellent cosmetic replacement.

Bought this and a black OEM case for my blackberry to murder it out, the black ball is exactly like the one that came with the blackberry. Just be careful when removing the silver circle, I kind've broke one of the spokes on mine so pick up a spare or just be careful, i still gave 5 stars because it was my own fault and i was just in a hurry. The track ball feels the same as the regular track ball, but you just cant light it up, but hey i bought this just for looks and it does that perfectly.

Nothing completes a murdered out mod on a Verizon Wireless pearl than a nice black as death pearl for the centerpiece. Fits perfectly and actually improves accuracy over stock translucent pearl. Thanks!
